his truth: dear world, you all have the pleasure of meeting mr. luis da cruz…an absolute visual genius. luis is 48 years old, originally from Portugal, and grew up in France. he has been studying and working from the age of 14 until 34. in his studies, he specialized in construction and heavily explored architecture and interior design. he is based here in new york and his business (which carries his moniker) offers full service interior design, specializing in contemporary and traditional interior design, custom window treatments and hand crafted furnishings. when asked his favorite color he replied “all colors in the right environment are my favorites, love them all (with a passion for blue, purple, chartreuse, and red) plus white”. (sidebar: although i am in no way worthy, i secretly want to serve as his apprentice). luis is divorced and is “very happy” with his life. take a moment and get inspired by his work…

This woman is timid, she will not look the camera in the eye. She does that alot in life too, stands back and lets others take the lead. She is Mediterrean or Brazillian/Argentian/Chilean (but her roots are European).
She is in her late 30’s/early 40’s and is a mother of one.

i dunno why but my first thought was that she was deaf.. i mean, how can someone look deaf? maybe it’s her hands…
i don’t think she is deaf because you wouldn’t have been able to speak to her (unless you have been keeping your knowledge of sign lang. under wraps) she looks like the standard oats ‘n’ berries bk chic… she’s organic; and prob. made room for her own personal herb garden in her window or fire escape if she doesn’t have a court yard. she’s an open book- she’ll tell you anything you wanna no… def. not from ny, but has been here for about 10 years… i don’t think she is married, she has a kid tho… that she loves to pieces and she passes on her knowledge of earth love
In most settings (especially when meeting people for the first time) she is a bit nervous, reserved, and self-conscious. She is her harshest critic, often unfairly so. The skewed perspective that she has because of this is projected onto those with whom she comes into contact. She is a student of some sort and has a great passion for learning.
