number twenty two

today’s subject:

……………………

yesterday’s results:

my assumption: he is a retired navyman…and is originally from the south.  he is a lover of rich culture…and has a very rich taste.  ***this is as far as i got…when i glanced up, he was walking away…and i wanted to make sure that i caught him to request his participation.  when i tried to sit with him quietly for a moment to write down the remainder of my thoughts…he wouldn’t stop talking.

his truth: this is arthur craig from birmingham alabama.  he is a middle child…and the name “NyC” brought him to new york.  he has lived here for fifty years.  arthur worked as a shipping clerk and he loved his job… “there you learn many things”.  he was married but his wife passed away…and he has 3 children “2 inside and 1 outside”…translation….2 children from his wife, 1 from his girlfriend.  arthur is very happy…”God has been exceptionally good to me”.

….then he invited me back to his apartment. hmmmm…. ;)

Definitely European. French or Italian? I’m thinking he works with his hands…as in he draws or drafts or takes photos. That bag is randomly practical, it just makes me think he’s carying more than contracts or financial documents. Probably a laptop and proofs.

He is married with impeccably dressed children and he lives for beach vacations.

    oh no, arthur! lol!

okay, about today’s post? absolute first thoughts/impressions right? i immediately thought Armenian smuggling ring circa USA or FX cop drama, but i totally mean that as a compliment. dude is monied. he likes the finer things, and he gets them - period. it’s a well fitting suit, so he’s either got a nice frame or a good tailor - or both. the shoulder bag: “i’m still young and savvy; don’t let the gray bangs fool you” (or is that just the sunlight?). longer hair: “i’m tired of being mistaken for andy garcia”. the shades: “i’m not really that tired of being mistaken for andy garcia” electronic communicating device in hand: “i am every bit as important as you think”. the black stripe down the pant leg confuses me a bit. is it just a tuxedo pant, or is it a subtle homage to dress blues? he certainly doesn’t look military. and with the rest of that ensemble, i would have expected more of the shoes. what does he do for a living? “don’t ask me about my business!” lol.

Very current. Always well-put together thanks to a personal shopper. He is married with two children (girls, I think). No matter where he is, he often has the look of needing to be elsewhere to attend to business (largely because of the flyaway hair). He is a careful listener, allowing him to have deeper insights than most.
