number nineteen

today’s subject:

yesterday’s results:

my assumption: he is from the city…and loves everything about a flashy life.  he likes to be seen, and has an attractive clique of friends  (its all quite strategic).  his face by day, and his face by night are extremely different.  he works full time and has a stable job, but when happy hour comes around, he plays hard.  he recently got out of a relationship…it ended poorly.  and so now he really isn’t seeking anything serious from anyone.

his truth:  he is 25 years old…originally from dc, and grew up in takoma park/silver spring maryland.  music is his passion and he is a working musician.  he also works part time at redskins radio as well as a part-time marketing & advertising commercial contractor.  he isn’t happy with life and is a very stressed out person.  with two ulcers, he literally internalizes the problems of the world.  it is hard for him to be content when he sees so much daily that needs to be fixed.  he says that he could never be in love and hasn’t had a real relationship since he was 18.  he is completely fine with that…he never feels lonely “its just a state of mind”. his priorities are his friends family and music…”I’ve kind of forgotton how to relax..it used to be music but it’s not as much of an outlet as a JOB anymore!”

a northeast liberal, maybe originally from rhode island or massachusetts, she lives in or near the village. she works at an independently owned book store or the local library (or both). she considers herself arts-y, but she’s not as well-traveled as she’d like to be. you may find her barefoot in central park or washington square, when the weather’s nice. she is a fan of most things eastern (except when the food gives her indigestion).

She wears whatever feels comfortable and represents her personality (cheery and vibrant). She is in her late 30’s. She smiles at often and giggles to herself alot.

She has not had a hair cut in over 10 years. She works with youth or in the arts.

    She likes Brooklyn.

I feel like she was insecure as a kid, or maybe still is. She met a group of people who accepted her for who she was and it helped her come out of her shell/feel loved/feel noticed. I think her friends dress like her and she likes dressing in flashy colors because it empowers her in a way. She likes dancing, the outdoors, and the two together. She has a huge open heart and finds most things beautiful. I feel, though, that she is covering up something darker from the past, but she is doing it in a positive way.

Beth is just what she seems - natural, peaceful, and loving. She is a keen listener and articulates her thoughts best through writing. She works for a non-profit environmental organization. She takes great care to preserve her version of happiness.

    She has a cat…maybe two.
