MySpace ruining the internet?

What do you think, has MySpace ruined peoples creativity? Has it ruined peoples visions on social networks?

Now adays, MySpace gets all kinds of spam. You get people adding in that you have never met before, and are just doing it to look cool or for marketing. Is this right? I thought MySpace was a way to connect with other users?

What about creativity? Has MySpace ruined people’s sense of creativity? Does having thousands of themes available, and ugly sparkly graphics ruin peoples creativity? You tell me. What do you think?

My answer would be that yes, it has ruined people’s outlook on social networking. People now see social networking for childish play, and just another way to get spam.

Yes, MySpace does ruin people’s creativity. MySpace is just a cookie cutter, that you can copy someone else’s code and make your page look just like theres.

What’s your opinion? Let me know!

The people that rely on the cookie-cutter and canned effects of myspace layouts are those that probably aren’t very creative anyway. Even if they are creative, styling out a Myspace page to your liking is quite the task even for someone like ourselves, savvy with the code of the internets. Many people probably do it, when all is said and done, just to save some time.
