assumption: i hate to disappoint, but i had no assumption. we were at an art show…and it was hard for me to take my eyes off of him. he caught my gaze a couple of times, gave a brief head nod, and went about his way. by the third time, i was pretty certain that he thought i was a bit too intense. after not seeing him for about thirty minutes, i figured that he had left. i grabbed my bag, and prepared to head out. literally a millisecond later he brushed past my arm. for the fourth time…i tried again to rush/force a judgment…but i just couldn’t manage to come up with anything. all of my ideas were fleeting. i still asked if he was interested in participating…and he warmly accepted.
facts: hailing from oslo norway, this is tor jorgen can eijk. he just moved to new york 3 weeks ago, and he really likes this city. he is 30 years old with no kids (”absolutely not” were his specific words), and he is currently not in love. in terms of favorites…he prefers blue and sushi. jorgen’s career is working as a video artist and curator. when i asked if he was happy, without any hesitation he said “yes”. he is a democrat, and he is in support of hilary… “the vagina is much more different than skin color”.

oh she’s so cute, love the pants. wow.
okay. on to the judgements… she’s into interior design. she got money- or at least maybe daddy does? she loves gold and any kind of adornment. she pays attention to detail.
She is well-educated. She comes from a large, loving family. She has at least one sister. She may have access to wealth (not so sure), but I do think she works for her living. Her style is effortless. I am not so sure that the vibrancy of her clothes matches her personality. She looks a little jaded, although her eyes are somewhat bewitching…
She’s high maintenance and condescending. Works in niche retail (assumption from the setting) which gives her enough industry knowledge to have strong opinions about fashion and cool, and presents herself as 90% more edgy than everyone, but 10% less than those edgy folks with no taste. She usually has a low balance in her checking account, refuses to use credit, loves the smell of dove soap and secretly wants to be a stay-at-home mom.
She is the WILD STYLE CHILD of her strict Indian Background, LOVE IT!!
so i want to say she’s indian b/c of the blouse but i don’t feel it through my veins- hum, maybe she is brazilian/hispanic… but i do love the ensemble. she is an employee at this lovely accessory store (where is it? i feel like i need to go) she has an accent, rich & deep - i don’t think she was born in america- maybe she came here to model and it didn’t happen and or this is just her side gig

I know you already answered this one but I haven’t peeped, so, I think she works in that accessory shop. Her clothes match the decor so well. Maybe her parents own it, maybe she does. The pose makes me think she’s used to being photographed, maybe because she’s the pretty one in the family. I can’t decide whether her expression is bored, aloof, sad or just a little self conscious. Her clothes make me think she likes fashion, but is also proud of her culture.
